Alfred Health Occupational Therapy Services operates across The Alfred Caulfield and Sandringham Hospitals with clinical services aligned to Alfred Health strategic goals and operational performance targets.

The Acquired Brain Injury Unit
Alfred Healths Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Rehabilitation Centre provides rehabilitation services for people with moderate to severe acquired brain injuries including traumatic brain injuries stroke hypoxic brain injuries and other causes of nonprogressive brain injury. The service is comprised of a 42bed inpatient rehabilitation service a community rehabilitation service and a 4bed transitional living service.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic occupational therapist to provide highquality assessment and management of patients within the Inpatient ABI Rehabilitation Service. Our ABI Service provides you with access to regular clinical supervision opportunities for continued professional development and being part of a friendly and supportive team.
At a Grade 2 level Occupational Therapists are required to display autonomy of practice whilst also demonstrating a commitment to patientcentred care collaborative practice and evidencebased knowledge translation.There will also be opportunities for Grade 2 clinicians to be involved in various teaching/training and quality improvement activities across the Occupational Therapy Service and will be responsible for the supervision and mentoring of Occupational Therapy staff Allied Health Assistants and/or undergraduate students.
It is a requirement of all Alfred Health staff that they may be required to work across all Alfred Health site (The Alfred Caulfield Hospital and Sandringham Hospital) including weekends and public holidays based on clinical service demands.
