Maintenance Associate (Label Technician) 3rd Shift Now Hiring Santa Fe Springs CA

Compensation Includes:

  • Starting rate of $27.5432/hour paid weekly

Available Shift:

  • 3rd: 10:00pm 6:30am

Experienced technician needed for the maintenance and repair of high speed labeling and combination padding lines. This position requires excellent mechanical skills and basic electrical knowledge. They will perform routine equipment setup and maintenance and troubleshooting on high volume high demand equipment. Resolving problems in a fastpaced environment and working towards improving longterm equipment reliability are an essential part of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to comply with facility safety regulations including wearing of proper PPE and following general required facility safety practices
  • Perform timesensitive work with focus on work quality and reliability
  • Address any emergency calls while on the job site particularly relating to production sensitive items
  • Able to work independently and/or with teams of varying disciplines
  • Effectively communicate verbally and written with floor operators to understand equipment related malfunctions failures and general defects
  • Troubleshoot machine/equipment/system issues and be able to effectively communicate findings to the team leader or other direct supervision
  • Perform product/line changeovers setup and test runs to ensure equipment performance is within established quality and productivity standards
  • Perform routine scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and reporting
  • Report on parts inventory and submit requests as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities for the following:
    • Motors couplings and other driveline parts
    • Gears pulleys tensioners
    • Chain and belt driven conveyors
    • Vacuum and pneumatic systems
    • Precision alignment and timing of mechanical devices
  • Good ability to navigate and troubleshoot through the use of PCs and Human/Machine Interfaces
  • Experience troubleshooting equipment controls including:
    • Encoders (timers / counters)
    • Position transducers and material sensing devices
