Job Description
- Support a largescale multiinstitutional partnership undertaking globally important marine research.
- Incremental progression based on 12 months continuous service.
- Fulltime appointment on fixed term basis for 3 years.
- Base salary range: $80243 $91256 p.a. (prorata) plus 17 superannuation.
About the area
The Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre (IOMRC) is a collaboration that brings together four of Australias leading research organisations working in and around the Indian Ocean:
Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (Fisheries)
Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS)
Oceans & Atmosphere (CSIRO)
UWA Oceans Institute
The collaboration includes the development of multidisciplinary IOMRC collaborative research initiatives that will significantly advance Australias marine science capacity capability and profile.
About the opportunity
- Provide administrative and executive support and direction to IOMRC Crawley and IOMRC Watermans
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent competency.
- Substantial relevant senior administrative experience at an appropriate level.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently show initiative and work productively as part of a team.
Note: A current C class drivers licence will be required by the successful applicant.
