Currently the team is working remotely however they are required to be in the office twice a month.
Ariel Partners is seeking a Software Developer who will support the DMSS program by providing handson development support to our Agile software development teams.
Candidate will join a team of engineers scientists and domain experts taking this longstanding successful project to the next level by implementing new features improving automation and incorporating DevOps and Agile practices. Candidate will be working closely with the product owner business analysts build master automated test engineers system administrators and other team members.
The Primary Responsibilities:
- Design develop enhance debug and implement software using MS Visual Studio for C#.NET
- Troubleshoot problems related to software applications; resolve systems integration and compatibility issues
- Support software testing as required including developing automated test scripts using NUnit SpecFlow and other automation tools
- Interact with required stakeholders including CODIS PMO business analysts and testers
- Support continuous innovation by implementing the best practices to improve technology tools and processes to increase team efficiency and technical
- Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable
Required Skills:
- Design develop enhance debug and implement software using MS Visual Studio for C#.NET Entity Framework LINQ SQL Database
- Troubleshoot problems related to software applications; resolve systems integration and compatibility issues
- Support software testing as required including developing automated test scripts using NUnit SpecFlow and other automation tools
- Interact with required stakeholders including CODIS PMO business analysts and testers
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools (such as TeamCity (preferred) Jenkins or Hudson
- Experience with Requirements Management tools such as TFS
- Support continuous innovation by implementing the best practices to improve technology tools and processes to increase team efficiency and technical
- Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable
- Agile/Scrum development experience
Highly Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of WinForms WPF WCF VB C XML MSBuild PowerShell InstallShield
- Understanding of engineering modeling languages such as ER diagrams UML Sequence diagrams or other engineering artifacts
- Experience writing and reviewing automated test scripts
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such asSpecFlow
