Position Specifics:

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Supervises: None

Purpose:

Assists with the compliance of all personnel policies and procedures. Assists in a combination of general accounting duties and updating personnel records. The person in this position must maintain confidentiality meet deadlines and enforce the company policy procedures and standards.

Program Overview:

LandMark Implement has an internship program designed to give potential employees an opportunity to learn the culture of LandMark while providing solutions to our organization and our customers who serve in the agriculture industry. Successful individuals will be invited to apply for a secondyear internship where they will get an even further indepth view of the company. Individuals invited to return for a second year will receive a $1000 scholarship. Scholarships will be a check paid directly to the college upon receipt of upcoming class registration. Interns will be paid per hour with a regulated 40hour work week.

Intern Selection:

Interns will be selected by an application process.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience Recruiting Payroll and Benefits

  • Be a part of creating a culture for Employee Engagement

  • Learn state local and federal laws related to HR

  • Participate in new hire enrollment and onboarding

Location: Kearney Support Center travel to other locations as needed

Physical Requirements:
Some lifting (up to 50 lbs.. Long hours on computer. Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting. Regular use of the telephone and email for communication is essential. Thephysical demandsdescribed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of thisjob. Qualifications

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • College students in their second year of a twoyear degree or students in their sophomore year of a fouryear degree

  • Desire to work in Agriculture and Sales

  • Excellent customer relationship skills

  • Ability to speak and write effectively oneonone and in groups

  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions

  • A willingness to learn and develop oneself
