Overview

Responsibilities

Our Business Development Managers are responsible for driving business growth for Leyton UK. They prospect for engage & convert new business clients for Leyton UK to consult upon their Tax Incentive & Innovation Tax claims with HMRC. This role will be working alongside our capital allowances team.

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that aligns with the companys goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research networking and targeted outreach to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders including CFOs tax directors and other decisionmakers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including tax professionals engineers and project managers to ensure that client needs are met and services are delivered in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage the sales pipeline tracking leads and opportunities and ensuring that all sales activities are documented and tracked in the companys CRM system.
  • Lead client presentations and proposals communicating the value proposition of the companys services and addressing client needs and concerns.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and stay uptodate on industry trends and developments.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends providing feedback to the companys leadership team to inform business strategy and sales tactics.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales and marketing campaigns that generate leads and drive revenue growth.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets reporting regularly on progress and forecasting future sales activity.

  • SalesSkills: A Business Development Manager should have a strong track record of success in sales and business development with experience in lead generation prospecting negotiation and closing deals.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are essential for a Business Development Manager including the ability to communicate complex concepts and value propositions in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strategic Thinking: A successful Business Development Manager should be able to think strategically about the companys goals and objectives and develop and execute a sales plan that aligns with those goals. This includes the ability to analyse market trends and competitive activity and make datadriven decisions.
  • Relationship Building: Building strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders is key to the success of a Business Development Manager. This requires the ability to establish trust and credibility and to communicate effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and levels of seniority..
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in business development preferably within financial services or property and surveying is highly valued for this role.
