Responsibilities
Peraton requires Systems Architects to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 EOM. This position islocatedatMacDill AFBin Florida.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM its Component Commands its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration change license and asset management; conduct training and perform Install Move Add Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM the CIO/J6 organization and ultimately the enduser who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Systems Architects perform tier four architecture and engineering support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. Individuals in this position need an extensive background in all aspects of systems technology. Systems Architects must possess excellent written and oral communication skills along with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. Systems Architects typically have a background in the development of enterprisewide or largescale information systems.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead customers to design technical implementationby understanding their requirementsthat are scalable optimally managed and adaptable using Red Hat technological solutions
- Build solutions that adapt to the customers culture in the design and delivery of their projects and actively pursue opportunities for improvement
- Continuously learn grow and adapt to new skills and technologies
- Successfully implementing complex largescale solutions in enterprise environments
- Active engagement and knowledge sharing of practice on lessons learned best practices and howtos
Desired Skills:
- Track record for creating architectural designs and leading a team on implementation toward successful customer outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to oversee project delivery including collaborating on project timelines and scope of work identifying stakeholder needs and setting expectations
- Experience working collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders
- An ability and desire to mentor and has experience with mentoring and coaching team members
- Ansible and/or OpenShift experience at an advanced level
- Deployed the product in a customer setting
- Advancedlevel Ansible Automation Platform knowledge to include:
- Management of the platform using Configuration as Code
- Experience using CI/CD pipelines to lint test and deploy productionready playbooks
- Experience integrating multiple teams on the platform using rolebased access control allowing both segregated job templates and collaborative workflow templates
- An advanced level understanding of RHEL
- Package management systems
- Network configuration
- Hard drive/partitions
- System hardening
- RHEL authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Experience performing RHEL migrations/upgrades
- OpenShift Virtualization
- Event Driven Ansible
- Migration of RHEL systems from other OS platforms including Ubuntu CentOS
- Red Hat Identity Management
- Red Hat Satellite Server/Capsule Server

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Min 12 years with HS degree 10 years with AS/AA degree 8 years with BS/BA 6 years with MS/MAor 3 years PHD
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
- DoD TS/SCI clearance or above is required
