The purpose of this Financial Analyst role is to:
Perform trade spend reporting planning and control for Customer Account Teams aiding in the achievement of sales and profit objectives.
Partner with Customer teams in Budget Management to ensure trade spend aligns with deployed targets.
Collaborate with the customer team in making resource allocation decisions including performing ROI calculations on investments made across the customer channel.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Business Partnering: Provide direct support to the Sr Sales Finance Manager covering Digital Commerce Walmart and Target. Support business case development for trade investments conduct ROI evaluations and help with regular trade spend reviews clearly explaining any variances or spend changes. Enable and support Sales teams in opportunity identification and providing financial counsel and direction.
Trade spends and claims management: Partner and lead the deductions and claims management process Ensure timely clearance of invoices and resolution of claims and control the Deductions reporting process thereby ensuring team KPIs are fully met.
Reporting and control: Lead Trade spend forecasting and budgeting process: Trade deductions and claims clearing process and ensure all financial KPIs are fully met. Work closely with the controllers team and ensure trade accruals are properly accounted for and in line with GSK policies and regulations.
Performance reviews: Provide support to the Sr Finance Manager in drafting excel models and PowerPoints for monthly Performance meetings with the customer teams. Ensure accurate data is available to create a consistent customer profitability model to share and discuss with customer teams.
Adhoc analysis: Provide support relative to distressed inventory and unsaleables. Assist Sr Sales Finance manager in special projects. Make suggestions to improve processes within the customer or finance teams.
This hybrid role requires you to be in the office 23 days a week in Warren NJ.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelors degree
2 years of work experience with a focus in financial analysis or accounting
Financial acumen and understanding of sales systems
Experience with Excel and Power BI
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:
MBA
CPG experience in either a finance or systems role
Experience working with Sales Teams
Understanding of financial principles and financial analytics
Understanding of Haleon systems and processes as they support decision making and business results
Ability to work with diverse customer and support groups to troubleshoot issues and make
Recommendations
Strong interpersonal skills required as liaison between sales team and finance and technical team and proven ability to balance conflicting priorities
Demonstrated problem identification and solving/resolution skills
Effective interpersonal skills to interact with senior customer groups
Demonstrated ability to work independently and on multifunctional teams
High level of analytical capabilities and experience with tactical knowledge in processes business methods and procedures
Experience in manage cost centers
Ability to interact well with others and globally
