Job Description
St Josephs is a Catholic EREA (Edmund Rice Education Australia) Boys Secondary College with an enrolment of over 1800 students. This college community is committed to the safety wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. There is particular attention paid to the most vulnerable children including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds and children with a disability.
Ongoing Teacher Vacancies
Commence Semester 2 21 July 2025
The College is seeking a suitably passionate qualified experienced and innovative secondary teachers for the following ongoing positions at the College:
- VCE Business and Economics
- VCE Mathematics Specialist and Methods
Dependent on the teaching methods the positions may be part time or full time. The ability to teach Religious Education would be an advantage.
Teachers at St Josephs College are employed to perform specific tasks as teachers of subjects and classroom administration. Each teacher brings ones own individuality to the job and thus a plurality of teaching approaches naturally occurs.
Within the context of a large organisation there is the need for each teacher to be consistent in the application of school procedures and policies. Teachers are expected to attend all relevant staff meetings and curriculum meetings.
