Art Teacher in a new SEN provision
Location: Horsham West Sussex
Contract Type: Permanent fulltime

Salary:(M1 UPS1 depending on experience

As part of our growth strategy we are really pleased to be opening a brand new SEND Secondary School in 2025 in the heart ofHorsham West Sussexfor young neurodivergent people aged 1116. Many students are working at or close to age expectations. Most of our students are coming to us from mainstream education to have access to an adapted National Curriculum delivered in small classes with a focus on meeting their sensory needs and support for their emotional wellbeing.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the delivery of the Art curriculum to students aged 1116. Many of our students are passionate about art and it is a subject that helps them to regulate their emotions too. Therefore some students will be given access to additional art lessons.
This is an exciting opportunity where you would be integral to developing a unique SEND provision and building a bespoke curriculum with the support of Aurora. We want a dynamic creative and flexible teacher.
