ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly experienced US Tax & Compliance Manager to lead our US finance compliance operations. This strategic position is designed for a professional with a strong background in multinational or serviceoriented industries such as travel agencies hospitality or global media/entertainment companies. The ideal candidate will oversee regional compliance processes tax strategies and audits ensuring alignment with U.S. Tax & GAAP standards and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Expertise:
- Broad knowledge of ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes) with specialized expertise in the impact of international tax provisions
- Review and preparation of tax provisions deferred tax assets/liabilities and uncertain tax positions related to international operations
Tax Expertise:
- Prepare and/or review annual income tax federal and state returns for C Corporations and PassThrough entities with experience in reviewing and preparing Formsand 1118
- Technical Expertise in US International Taxation
- Deep understanding of US income taxation of corporations including corporate reorganizations mergers acquisitions and divestitures
- Skilled in defending tax return positions under IRS audits preparing responses and managing tax controversy matters
Operational & Research Capabilities
- Analyze business operations and accounting records to identify income tax implications
- Conduct indepth research on applicable US and international tax laws to reach technical conclusions
- Effectively communicate findings and recommendations both verbally and in written reports
CrossFunctional Collaboration and Team Leadership:
- Work collaboratively across finance accounting legal and operational departments to ensure compliance and tax efficiency
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align business strategies with tax considerations
- Provide mentorship training and career development for tax personnel
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in a senior managementrole within multinational organizations or serviceoriented industries.
- Possess indepth expertise in compliance regional accounting processes and tax management.
- Extensive knowledge of:
- US TAX & GAAP standards
- Corporate income tax regulations
- Regional compliance processes and accounting adjustments
- Strong background in managing audits inspections and administrative processes.
- Strong experience in managing regional compliance processes and inspections.
- Expertise in developing and monitoring KPIs for accounting and tax functions.
- Demonstrated ability to consolidate global accounts and provide strategic tax support.
- Effective leadership skills with experience managing multilevel teams.
