Job Description

  • Loading and unloading building materials and transporting them to the workshop
  • Assembly and dismantling of concreteform work scaffolding ramps catwalks and barriers on construction sites
  • Mixing pouring and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Helps heavy equipment operators secure attachments to equipment
  • Signals to guide heavy equipment operators on the move
  • Assists in aligning pipes and performing related work during construction of oil and gas pipelines
  • Rock drilling and blasting support at construction site
  • Rake and shovel to level the soil to fine specifications
  • Building demolition support
  • Remove debris and other debris from construction sites using rakes shovels wheelbarrows and other equipment
  • Operation of pneumatic hammers vibrators and rammers
  • Maintenance or loading equipment used in construction such as mixers compressors and pumps
  • Cleanup of spilled chemicals and other contaminants and removal of asbestos and other materials
  • Refueling and lubrication hoists and similar equipment
  • Traffic management at or near construction sites


Requirements


  • A valid drivers license is required.
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma.
  • Ability to perform manual labor and other strenuous physical work.
  • Ability to work in any weather. Employees must be punctual and reliable.
  • Professional experience as a construction worker in the construction industry is required.
