Pay Range: $70000 $72000 annually


Our teams work hard to maintain a culture that is conducive to creative thinking empowerment and collaboration. We are currently looking to fill a full time Leasing Director position for our properties Basecamp Emory and Atwood located at RED in Reno NV.


The Leasing Director is responsible for excellent customer service sales results and assisting in the daily management and coordination of all aspects of apartment community operations including leasing apartments maximizing revenue achieving occupancy goals and leading the leasing staff.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Leads by example and ensures that all members of the leasing team meet the standards and goals established for the Leasing Associate positions.
  • Ensures the leasing team conducts enthusiastic tours of the community and apartment homes and that team members followup on all traffic and leasing leads to maximize rentals and achieve occupancy goals.
  • Manages phone call and email leads to increase traffic to the community; supervises lead management and followup conducted by leasing personnel.
  • Serves as coach to ensure success of the leasing team and also may serve as a secondary closer and conduct leasing activities as needed.
  • Assists the Sr. Property Director with compiling and presenting reports related to leasing activities.
  • Maintains company customer service standards and responds clearly in a timely manner to customer needs and concerns. Follows through to ensure resolution.
  • Inspects property models amenities and all common areas on a regular basis and reports any repair or replacement needs to Service Team Supervisor and Sr. Property Director.
  • Continuously trains coaches and develops leasing associates to achieve maximum growth potential.
  • Conducts oneonone meetings monthly with each Leasing Associate to review performance results as well as biweekly meetings as needed for those not meeting position requirements.
  • Manages the process for application approvals.
  • Performs weekly competition shops and reports market survey results.
  • Reviews feedback surveys and creates action plans based on actionable feedback from prospects.
  • Attends community events (may take place after regular office hours and on weekends).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience/Requirements:

  • Two to three years of solid sales and/or sales management experience.
  • Experience mentoring other staff members.
  • Ability to read analyze interpret and compose contracts forms and documents.
  • Possess the ability to respond to common inquiries or requests from service providers and coworkers in various departments.
  • Knowledge of industry concepts practices and procedures.
  • Must operate efficiently in a fast dynamic environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication and prioritization.
  • Knowledge of financials experience a must.
  • Knowledge of database and real estate property management applications preferably Real Page.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Effectively present information in oneonone and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization.

This position requires attendance at offsite meetings visits to other Company operated locations purchase of goods from offsite vendors and other tasks away from a single assigned location. Applicant must have a valid drivers license or be able to utilize an alternative form of transportation at their own expense which allows them to reach the required destination in a time period comparable to that if they were to drive their own vehicle. Employees choosing to drive their own vehicle for workrelated duties will be required to have a valid drivers license and provide proof of insurance and may be subject to a DMV record search.
