Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a Surface Mount Assembly Technician to join our team that runs SMT equipment that produce a variety of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).

Primary Responsibilities
Working knowledge of SMT machines such as: Stencil Printer Solder Paste Inspection Pick & Place machine Reflow Oven Automated Optical Inspection (AOI).
Understanding of different electronics packages such asBGAs and how they are processed on a SMT line.
Experience working under a microscope.
Works to achieve daytoday objectives and have significant impact on the work output.
Works independently under limited supervision.
Work in team environment and interacting with different functions project teams and productions teams.
Basic Qualifications
HS Diploma/GED with at least 2 years Surface Mount Technology (SMT) experience.
Knowledge of SMT processes used to build Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.
Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions.
Must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Current or prior certification in IPCA610.
Current or prior certification in JSTD001.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $46800.00 $84600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
