Job Description
Position Summary:
The Content Specialist plays a critical role in the recovery and restoration of properties buildings and items that have been damaged by various factors such as fire water mold or natural disasters. Their primary responsibility is to restore these damaged assets to their preloss condition. The Content Specialist works closely with Mitigation Foreman Core Claims Project Managers and customers.
- Reports To: Contents Manager
- Hourly Range:$15.00 $18.00
- Location: Orlando
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS
- Complete pack ins/pack outs adherent to the scope of work provided by the Contents Manager
- Perform physical labor associated with cleanup activities packing and categorizing of customers contents general onlocation cleaning and deodorization of personal property and structure
- Acquires appropriate documentation from homeowners/Communicates with homeowners to notify of job schedule
- Structure cleaning of walls floors ceilings and all areas affected by water and/or fire damage
- Complete cleaning process for contents on assigned jobs/Clean up job sites after demolition
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure that proper PPE is utilized and safety precautions are taken
- Provide detailed notes and photos using the companys digital record keeping system
- Communicate with the Contents Manager on a daily basis to advise on job progress issues etc.
- Remediate soot and smoke from fire damaged contents and structures
- Drive company vehicles
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Perform Daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition
Qualifications:
- Endurance to lift and carry heavy items 50 lbs. or more) while climbing stairs balancing and walking
- High school education or equivalent required
- The ability to occasionally work weekends and extended hours as needed.
- Applicants must be reliable driven customeroriented and willing to be part of a team.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Basic understanding of technology and computer skills.
- A valid and clean drivers license is required.
- Must have a clean criminal background (no felony convictions) and drug testing

Environment Conditions:
Climate controlled home/office and other settings. Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat. Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud and from occasional to frequent time periods. Exposure to fumes from solvents and chemical solutions.
