Position Summary
The Sr. Payments & Operations Development Specialist leads employee development efforts within the department to include managing designing developing coordinating and conducting all training programs. This position requires working knowledge of payment processes including ACH Debit Cards Mobile Deposits BillPay Item Processing and Wire Processing. They are also responsible for managing all resource content utilized to perform department processes. This position works closely with Payments & Operations Leadership to identify training needs and map out development plans for teams and individuals. This position has
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develops and maintains the content needed for a scalable training program that efficiently equips teammates with the knowledge needed to perform their job duties
- Maintains knowledge of payment processes ACH Debit Cards Mobile Deposits BillPay Item Processing and Wire Processing
- Facilitating learning through a variety of methods such as classroom instruction virtual training and onthejob training
- Develops & maintains all department resources
- Conducts departmentwide training needs assessment and identifies skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
- Routinely gathers feedback from trainees to understand effectiveness of training program and uses that knowledge to make program adjustments that improve the experience
- Works with Payments & Operations Leadership to track teammates progress to ensure they are learning and developing new skills
- Researches and recommends new training opportunities that align with departmental and organizational strategic objectives
- Upholds credit union policies and procedures and champions organizational culture both internally and externally
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and / or Experience
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of three years of relevant work experience (i.e. Debit Card Item Processing ACH Wires and/or bank operations) preferably in a financial institution is required. Training experience is highly preferred.
Certificates Licenses and Registrations
Must be bondable. One or more of the following certifications is preferred: Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) or National Check Professional (NCP)
Software and Equipment Requirements
To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of and be proficient in the use of a personal computer Microsoft Office products and the use of a telephone. Knowledge and use of a 10key is helpful. Must have or gain adequate knowledge of learning management systems elearning platforms and web delivery tools.
Must have reliable internet access of 50MBPS which is the minimum speed required to connect to several of our systems and platforms.

Ability to think strategically and implement tactically. Ability to perform a volume of duties while maintaining accuracy timeliness and a positive attitude.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve goals. Proficiency in responding effectively to highly sensitive complex emotional and/or urgent issues related to members teammates and vendors. Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

Starting Pay & Benefits
This role offers a range of $57000$72000. It also entails thebenefits available to all Amplify employees.
Location
This remote role is available to candidates living in the Austin Metropolitan area.
