You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe House of Commons Office of the Clerk and Secretariat is currently looking to staff the Senior Planner position.
As Senior Planner you will provide leadership on key planning projects and initiatives throughout the House of Commons Administration. You will be required to support and coordinate the integrated planning and reporting framework. This includes the development and implementation of procedures and guidelines as well as monitoring and assessing planning and reporting products and services.
You will also have a key role in consultations with clients stakeholders and external contacts to develop and recommend strategies and courses of action. This includes but is not limited to providing advice to House Administration senior level executives and their management teams managers and staff on products and services in the areas of strategic planning performance measurement business planning and reporting.
You possess practical knowledge and understanding of planning theories principles practices and processes to develop and implement planning strategies tools products and services. You advise and guide project teams partners managers and staff involved in planning initiatives special projects and events. You possess an understanding of the concepts theories approaches and procedures of change management policy management organizational behaviour business planning cycles and performance measurement mechanisms.
