Wage: A competitive $65000 $95000 annual salary flexible depending on experience

Reports To: Deputy Campaigns Director

Position Location: Los Angeles Sacramento Bay Area Fresno Riverside

Work Schedule: Four Day Work Week: Two 2 days in office two 2 days remote. However there may be certain circumstances like pressing deadlines or peak business periods where it becomes necessary for the organization to temporarily switch to a fiveday work week.


California Environmental Voters (EnviroVoters) and EnviroVoters Education Fund are excited to launch a search for a Campaign Manager/Senior Campaign Manager to join our dynamic fun and highperforming team!

To protect our water land air and our most vulnerable communities we organize voters elect and train candidates and hold lawmakers accountable for bold policy change.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage statewide campaign to hold corporate polluters accountable by passing the Affordable Insurance and Climate Recovery Act and other cuttingedge policies in CA Legislature
  • Oversee & execute strategic campaign decisions between Organizing Policy Advocacy and Communications teams
  • Collaborate with Deputy Campaigns Director Policy Advocacy Director and the organizations leadership to refine strategy and tactics
  • Coordinate communications internally and externally
  • Collaborate with communications team & contract communications firm to establish messaging and campaign assets
  • Work with policy advocacy team and contract lobbyists moving the bill through the legislature
  • Identify key targets & districts with organizing team and coordinate tactics to earn legislative support
  • Gather information and provide regular updates for the organizations leadership on campaign status
  • Build and lead a broad coalition of support from across California with other Enviro groups EJ Orgs Labor Local Electeds Businesses Community Leaders etc. for the policy
  • Identify partner organizations & leaders in target legislative district and provide resources to support their capacity on the campaign
  • Set outcomes devise tactics and provide regular opportunities for coalition members to engage with and support campaign advocacy
  • Oversee budget and spending for the campaign
  • Work with attorneys and admin team to ensure proper compliance and reporting
  • Help identify additional resources for the campaign
  • Support other EnviroVoterss campaign & organizing priorities when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

MUST HAVES

To be successful in this job you must possess the following qualities and experience:

  • Excellent project management skills including organization internal communication and deadline management
  • Experience managing and making strategic decisions in issue advocacy electoral and/or grassroot campaigns
  • Knowledge of Californias legislative process and political landscape
  • Strong collaboration and experience collaborating with consultants and external stakeholders
  • Managed budgets and ideally have fundraising experience
  • Administered and unified organizationbased coalition efforts
  • Strong clear and effective communication
  • Ability to quickly identify challenges and develop innovative solutions in a fastpaced environment
  • Adaptable to change and able to adjust strategies in response to new information or unexpected developments
  • Ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving campaign goals
  • Ability to think outside the box to develop unique and compelling campaign strategies
  • Strong commitment to racial social economic justice and equity
  • Strong commitment to solving the climate crisis
