Whats in store for you:
In this fully remote position youll be developing complex products and working with an infrastructure processing petabytes of data. Expect challenges that will elevate your expertise loads of ownership the latest tech stack and effective collaboration with a large team of engineering professionals.
Your daytoday:
- Work on private cloud and remotely hosted infrastructure configuration automation and testing.
- Take care of scaling our infrastructure.
- Ensure zero downtime for different environments and projects.
- Ensure that high security and compliance standards are met.
- Ensure that critical infrastructure components or solution backups disaster recovery redundancy and rollback plans exist.
- Ensure that infrastructure systems are monitored audited and alerting configured.
- Ensure systems are secure compliant and uptodate with the latest patches and protocols.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure related issues and outages.
- Stay current with the latest infrastructure developments and tooling available.
Your skills & experience:
- Strong understanding of Linuxbased systems and servers.
- Handson experience with automation/configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible SaltStack).
- Proficiency in working with container systems (e.g. Kubernetes Docker).
- Familiarity with databases especially MySQL and Redislike keyvalue databases.
- Strong ability to prioritize and focus on highimpact work.
- Experience with various Cloud providers.
- Background in maintaining custom object/block storage solutions.
- Experience with Kafka/Redpanda.
- Experience with RabbitMQ.
- Experience with HAProxy.
