The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Custodian to join our team and help drive the development management and governance of data across our organization. This critical role is designed to ensure the integrity quality and accessibility of Avantors data assets while fostering a culture of data stewardship across departments. If you are passionate about data management and governance and have a strong technical background this is the ideal opportunity for you.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Data Management Business Management Computer Science Information Systems or a related field
- 35 years of experience in data management governance or a related field or endtoend O2C/P2P
- Proven expertise in data governance frameworks data quality management and data security
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for data management (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
- Experience with data management tools (Excel Python SQL QV) and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Fluent English (written and spoken) French knowledge of advantage

- Oversee the entire lifecycle of data management and custodianship ensuring data is accurate secure and compliant with regulatory and organizational standards
- Implement and manage data governance policies procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the proper handling and utilization of data across various systems
- Monitor and enforce data quality standards performing regular audits to identify areas for improvement
- Serve as a point of contact for datarelated issues offering support and resolving challenges related to data accessibility and integrity
- Lead and manage data migration integration and transformation efforts across systems and platforms
