Mission Brief
You will be an integral part of the AGNCAvionics team who designs tests and verifies Spectrums Avionics systems. Your core work will revolve around the development & testing of our onboard Avionics systems with focus on the Radio Frequency system. You will develop test and operate Radio Frequency subsystems managing the associated technical interfaces and taking ownership of relevant avionics units. The role will be dynamic working across the team on your adjacent fields coming up with technical solutions implementations and test setups. Interdisciplinary tasks continuous improvement of units and test rigs as well as supporting your colleagues in your field of expertise are your daily business and you thrive in that kind of environment.
Your Role in Our Space Mission:
- Own the design qualification and testing of Radio Frequency subsystems i.e. antennas transmitters GNSS receivers)
- Develop and automate Radio Frequency system test setups
- Take ownership of the design layout and testing of inhouse developed PCBs and/or Avionics units
- Define/review requirements of our inhouse developed units and their associated test setups with focus on automation
- Define requirements and test plans to execute environmental qualification & acceptance test campaigns
- Perform onfield Avionics tests campaigns such as stage checkouts & testing
- Work on various electronics design and test related adhoc tasks across the team
Qualification Checklist
- BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or comparable
- Exceptional knowledge of radiofrequency systems and wireless communications preferably in space applications
- Experience with GNSS receivers in aerospace applications
- Enhanced knowledge of analog & digital electronics
- Experience with testing operations (functional environmental field testing)
- Good knowledge of automation principles & electronic test setups
- Passionate about new space curious and eager to learn
- Take ownership and accountability for your own actions and mistakes
- Cando attitude and outstanding communication skills
- Fluent in English
Bonus Skills
- Experience in electrical circuit and board design preferably in Altium Designer
- Analog & mixed signal testing and debugging skills
- Programming skills for automated test setups and data processing (in language of preference
