Job Posting Description:

This role is Hybrid #LIHybrid

Are you an inspired problem solver with a customerfocused mindset Reporting to our Client Services Manager you will oversee comprehensive financial operations and analysis reconciliation and financial reporting. You will ensure that all financial transactions are processed and following IFRS financial reporting standards specifically all systems interfaces.

About the Role

  • Supervise department staff comprised of bargaining unit employees.
  • Oversee reconciliation exceptions periodic reporting and analysis
  • Lead change initiatives ensuring compliance with ICFR IFRS and LCBO accounting policies.
  • Work with the Finance teams to design and implement enhanced financial reporting controls.
  • Financial system client acceptance testing for current procedures/new projects/upgrades as assigned.
  • Period end and year end tasks work with Treasury IT & Finance to ensure that all required objectives are met.
  • Manage multiple system development projects defining finance requirements and coordinating testing initiatives.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial system interfaces operations and reports.
  • Comprehensive tender (Debit and Credit Card) reconciliation processes and analysis database integrity and recouping nonsettlement of funds
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies maintaining high service level standards with partners.
  • Develop business processes to meet corporate objectives and regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide strong technical leadership and guidance to department staff members and project teams to improve processes.
  • Prepare/update procedure documents as required.
  • Work on multiple ad hoc projects and operational activities as directed by the Manager.

About You

  • Completion or actively working towards a professional accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent jobrelated experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance or businessrelated field.
  • Proficiency in financial services operations Oracle financial modules familiarity with other financial systems.
  • 2 years of experience with Supply Chain and/or Wholesale environment with expertise in Supply Chain activities functions processes concepts and legislation.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft programs with expertise in Excel.
  • Enjoy solving analytical problems and consulting with others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to supervise in a unionized environment.
  • Organized with the ability to collaborate and lead projects based on established LCBO accounting policies.
