Job Schedule:9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off
Job Description:
This position will report directly to the Associate Manager of Facilities under general supervision of the Facilities Manager
The Facility Technician (Carpenter) will work under general supervision to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications blueprints schematics and locally generated instructions. Must be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards. Will be required to follow work procedures work on facilities and production equipment as well as perform general maintenance
Essential Functions:
60 Repair and maintenance of existing facilities
30 New construction
10 6S general shop upkeep cleaning or organizing
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4years of prior related experience
Requires a Journeyman or Master Plumber License Boiler Operators License Back Flow Prevention Worker Certificate or ability to obtain them within one year
Preferred Additional Skills:
Waterworks Operator License Level 5 or ability to obtain both within one year
Proficient computer skills (such as MS Word and Excel including use of formulas) strongly desired
