Weare seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Finance &Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our dynamic team. In this key role youwill be responsible for overseeing the finance and insurance operationsproviding exceptional customer service and driving revenue growth through thesale of finance products extended warranties and insurance services. JobDuties & Responsibilities
- Offeringvehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thoroughexplanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a completeexplanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Establishesand maintains good business relations with several sources of financingincluding manufacturers and their financial branches.
- Providescustomers with detailed information on aftermarket products and extendedwarranties.
- Seekingnew lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to securecompetitive interest rates and financing programs.
- Processingfinancing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financialsources to secure approval and through the proper federal state and corporatechannels.
- Understandingand complying with federal state and local regulations that affect the newand usedvehicle and finance departments.
- Ensuresthat the information on the sale or lease contracts (taxes signatures etc.)is accurate.
- Keepsan adequate and uptodate supply of all contracts and documents required forthe preparation and finalization of automobile transactions.
- Creatingand maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all newsales are referred to the F&I department.
- Trainingand providing the sales team with information on finance and lease programs andthe benefits of the dealerships financing and extended service programs.
- Maintainsa professional appearance.
- Performsother tasks based on management requirements and instructions.
Requirements
Skills& Qualifications:
- Managersare required to not only understand and keep abreast of the federal state andlocal regulations that affect their operations.
- F& I personnel require strong communication skills in order to work withcustomers employees and finance/insurance vendors as they represent thedealership.
- Avalid sales license is required.
