Job Description:
We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices reconciling vendor accounts and ensuring timely payments. If you have a strong background in accounts payable / receivables and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Process invoices verify accuracy and ensure proper approvals.
Prepare and issue payments via check ACH or wire transfer.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with monthend closing procedures.
Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in accounts payable or accounting preferably in an automotive dealership setting is preferred.
Understanding of general accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. CDK Reynolds & Reynolds QuickBooks) is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
