Job Schedule: 9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off
Essential Functions:
- Create and maintain schematic symbols for Electrical Computer Aided Design (ECAD) library from component vendor data sheets.
- Create and maintain solder pad footprints for ECAD library from component vendor data sheets and IPC standards.
- Create and maintain 3D Models of ECAD library parts for use by Mechanical Engineering.
- Ensure that all requirements for manufacturing and assemblyare met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 4years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 8years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Competent experience in ECAD libraries or equivalent combination of education training and/or experience in ECAD libraries is desired. Associate degree or certificate in Graphics Technology or Engineering Technology is desired but not required.
- Competent skills and experience with ECAD software applications and related PC equipment. Specific experience with Mentor Xpedition Siemens NX and Siemens Teamcenter software is desirable.
- Competent knowledge and experience of electrical components component vendor data sheets and electrical schematics is desirable.
- General knowledge of industry standards such as IPC for design and ASME/ANSI for documentation is desired.
