About the project
Design systems is a unified collection of reusable design and code components all built around a single source of truth. It gathers resources guides components and patterns that help you create seamless and consistent user experience across all of TBCs digital products. TBCx design system helping product teams deliver high quality experiences more efficiently. It lets designers focus on solving user problems rather than spending time on visual design details and allows developers to implement designs without worrying about pixel perfect accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Component & System Testing
- Conduct testing of design system components across Web iOS and Android.
- Verify that components adhere to Foundation Library guidelines ensuring consistency in typography colors spacing motion and iconography.
- Test UI and UX behaviors checking for responsiveness accessibility and crossplatform compatibility.
- Ensure that design and code implementations match the Figma libraries and adhere to the Design System specifications.
2. Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with designers to ensure that design specifications are correctly implemented in code.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve componentlevel bugs and inconsistencies.
- Assist product teams in integrating and testing components within their applications.
- Provide clear documentation of test cases bug reports and quality checks in tools like Jira Confluence or GitHub.
- Contribute to the creation of testing guidelines for the design system.
- Identify performance issues and ensure components meet accessibility (WCAG) usability and responsiveness standards.
4. Contribution & Continuous Improvement
- Provide feedback on improving QA workflows within the Design System team.
- Stay updated on best practices in UI testing automation and design system quality assurance.
- Participate in team reviews design critiques and retrospectives to advocate for quality and consistency.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications & Skills
Technical Skills
- Experience in UI/UX Testing for Web and Mobile applications iOS & Android.
- Knowledge of Figma and ability to compare design files with implemented components.
- Basic understanding of design tokens and componentdriven development in a design system.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git) and task management tools (Jira Confluence).
- Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG standards) is a plus.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies is a plus
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team.
- Good communication skills for reporting issues and working with designers and developers.
- Proactive mindset with a passion for quality assurance and design systems.
Preferred Experience
- 1 years of experience in QA testing for digital products or design systems.
- Experience working with multiplatform products and/or design systems (Web iOS Android).
- Basic understanding of automated testing tools for UI components.
Fluency in English is a must
