Role: Quality Assurance

- Reports to: Project Manager
Qualification:
- Bachelors Degree required from an accredited educational institution preferably in Computer Science Information Technology
- Prior experience with Fintech companies required

Job Description: A capable Software Tester to develop and maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and test results. Provide technical support and guidance during product releases and postrelease activities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans test cases test data test scenarios and other testing related documentation based on the requirements and technical specifications
- Collaborate with software developers QA engineers and product managers to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
- Ensure data integrity standards
- Plan develop execute maintain and improve Automated Test Frameworks and Automated Test Scripts for Web and Database applications
- Proficient in scripting test cases with JAVA/selenium & TestNG.
- Experience in Cypress & JavaScript.
- Identify areas for improvement in the quality system
- Accurately report and track testing related defects and issues by writing effective and thorough bug reports and verify bug fixes
- Identify process and application issues and provide suggestions to improve
- Learn new technologies and adapt to them as needed
- Identify and deploy automation solutions based on changing project needs
Key Skills:
- Experience in automated testing with a focus on web applications.
- Handson experience with Cypress for endtoend testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML CSS).
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (eg Jenkins GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience with other test automation tools (eg Selenium WebDriverIO).
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (eg Cucumber) and Gherkin syntax.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (eg Docker Kubernetes).
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
