Position Overview
Leading Thai bank seeks a detailoriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business operations and technology solutions. This role focuses on analyzing banking processes gathering requirements and driving digital transformation initiatives while working primarily remotely with periodic inoffice collaboration.
Work Arrangement
6month contract (potential for extension)
Work From Home (WFH) arrangement
23 days office presence required monthly for team meetings and stakeholder presentations
Office location: Bangkok specify area
Key Responsibilities
Analyze current banking business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across different banking divisions
Create detailed functional specifications for technology solutions and process improvements
Conduct gap analysis between current and desired business processes
Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to validate requirements
Support user acceptance testing and training for new systems
Develop process maps workflows and business cases
Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives
Prepare and present analysis reports to senior management
Technical Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Economics or related field
3 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in banking or financial services
Strong proficiency in:
Business process modeling tools
Data analysis and visualization tools
Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Requirements management tools
Banking software and systems
Required Skills
Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities
Excellent documentation and report writing abilities
Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills
Proficiency in business process mapping
Understanding of banking operations and workflows
Experience in requirements gathering and analysis
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent communication skills in English (Thai language skills are a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in Thai banking sector
Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
CBAP PMIPBA or other relevant certifications
Experience with digital banking transformations
Understanding of PDPA and banking security protocols
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
