The Role:

As a Government Relations Manager (Corporate Affairs Manager) at Plexus you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategies to enhance corporate reputation stakeholder relations and public image. Success in this role is defined by your ability to drive effective international expansion strengthen government stakeholder and trade organizations relations and champion corporate social responsibility initiatives that align with our ambitious goals. You will be an individual contributor who partners with the Corporate Affairs team to drive results.

What You Will Accomplish (Key Performance Objectives):

  • Support International Marketplace Presence: Successfully develop and execute communication strategies for new markets ensuring compliance and fostering strong relationships with local governments and trade organizations.
  • Enhance Corporate Reputation and Brand Image: Implement and monitor reputation management strategies resulting in measurable improvements in stakeholder sentiment and media coverage.
  • Strengthen Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain productive relationships with government entities industry partners and community groups increasing the companys visibility and influence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute initiatives that enhance Plexus reputation stakeholder relations and corporate influence aligning with organizational goals.
  • International Expansion: Oversee market entry strategies navigating regulatory environments and fostering positive relations with local authorities.
  • Strategic Communications Curate and support the narrative with regulators and key opinion leaders driving positive coverage and managing industry related crisis communications.
  • Advocacy & Engagement: Support public policy initiatives by monitoring legislative developments and engaging with policymakers and industry associations.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Partner with CSR and align ESG efforts with organizational values promoting community engagement and philanthropic activities.
  • Impact Reporting: Track and analyze the outcomes of corporate affairs initiatives providing actionable recommendations for improvement.

PerformanceBased Qualifications:

  • Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute communication plans that achieve measurable improvements in corporate reputation and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven Expertise:
    • Government Affairs & Corporate Communications: 5 years of experience in managing crossfunctional partnerships with interest in international expansion and reputation management.
    • Strategic Communications: Expertise in strategic communications that enhances corporate image among target audiences.
    • Legislative Advocacy: Track record of engaging with government and trade organizations to influence public policy effectively.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Preferred experience in international markets.
    • Proficiency in digital communication platforms.
    • Adaptability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
    • Analytical ability to assess and improve corporate communication strategies.
  • Educational Foundation:
    • Required: Bachelors degree in Communications Public Affairs or Political Science.
    • Preferred: Masters degree or MBA.
