Job Description
Description of the role: As a Tutor for AP History at Tutor Doctor North County San Diego you will provide personalized oneonone tutoring sessions to high school students. This role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of AP History curriculum and the ability to effectively communicate and mentor students.
Responsibilities: Conduct individual tutoring sessions and create personalized study plans based on students needs. Assist students in understanding complex historical concepts and theories. Help students improve critical thinking and analytical skills required for AP History exams. Monitor and assess students progress providing feedback and guidance for improvement. Collaborate with students teachers and parents to ensure alignment with classroom instruction and goals.
Requirements: Strong knowledge of AP History curriculum and exam requirements. Prior experience in tutoring teaching or mentoring students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience empathy and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Benefits: Competitive compensation package ranging from $23 to $28.5 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Flexible working hours to accommodate both parttime and fulltime availability.
