A local company with several manufacturing facilities in Livonia and Redford Michigan is seeking several Fabricators for LongTerm opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Fabricators who are looking for a company that offers excellent growth job security competitive rates good work/life balance and premium rate overtime.
The position is fulltime and longterm with starting pay rates between $25 to $30 hourly based on experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We also offer paid overtime at 1 1/2 after 40/hrs. per week and excellent benefits including: Medical Dental Vision 401K with matching profit sharing and more!
Qualified Fabricators will have most if not all of the following skills and experience:
- Fabrication experience with custom / prototype builds assemblies with ability to fabricate precision engineered structures and machinery from scratch.
- Read and interpret blueprints 3D CAD drawings troubleshoot build issues and work closely with engineering.
- Able to assess and determine appropriate equipment and methods to fabricate with.
- Must MIG Weld and be able to position align and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly/tacking and/or welding.
- Ability to operate shop tools/machinery: shears presses saws drill press grinders cutting torch manual mills/lathes rigging equipment and cranes.
- Use of precision measuring tools (calipers/mics/height gauges) squares scales and fixtures.
- Must be authorized to work in the US and complete standard prehire checks including background drug screen references etc.
