We are looking for System & Application Owner to join our Pozna office.

Your future team:

Group Finance Systemsdrives the global ownership of systems and applications within finance and has the responsibility to execute the global digital finance roadmap.

This includes contribute in new idea creations and business cases ensure roll outs and deployments as well as prioritizations of continue developments.

You will be a part of international team of four people working closely with relevant teams and Global Process Owners on various initiatives.

What you will be doing:

As part of our digital finance team you will play a pivotal role in driving the digitalization of the finance organization at ROCKWOOL. Your primary responsibility will be to support the standardization and automation of operational activities while leveraging technology to provide actionable insights that will enhance business decisionmaking. You will be at the forefront of shaping the digital finance landscape by owning and advancing key systems and applications that impact the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Ownership of Finance Systems and Applications: You will have full ownership of systems and applications within the finance organization focusing on the optimization and innovation of finance structures. This includes managing the implementation and ongoing development of financial systems.

  • Finance Structures and Intercompany Setup: Take responsibility for finance structures and intercompany configurations ensuring they align with overall business goals.

  • Solution Deployment and Rollout: Collaborate closely with both the finance and digital teams to deploy solutions across business operations. You will drive the adoption of new tools and solutions that enhance the financial functions capabilities.

  • Insights and Analytics: Explore and deliver analytical insights that support business stakeholders. As the product owner for finance structures you will ensure that new insights are generated and used to drive better decisionmaking.

  • Business Case Development: Support business cases for new tools and solutions from the initial opportunity study to benefit realization working closely with stakeholders from the digital and business teams.

  • Automation and Process Digitalization: Lead initiatives focused on the automation and digitalization of financial processes continuously seeking out new tools and improvements to streamline operations.

  • Collaboration with IT: Work as a key liaison between the business and IT organization to prioritize tasks ensure effective governance and support the successful delivery of digital finance projects.

  • Stakeholder Communication and Support: Ensure strong communication across various functions collecting structuring and prioritizing feedback from stakeholders to facilitate ongoing improvements.

  • User Community Support: Help build and sustain knowledge across the organization by supporting user communities and ensuring strong system knowledge for both new and existing solutions.

What you bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in different financial areas (e.g. accounting controlling reporting)
  • Solid understanding and handson experience in finance structures: company codes cost centres profit centres and general ledgers accounts is a must
  • Proven experience in create and implement system improvements
  • Ability to identify system improvements and support system implementations / initiating projects.
  • Strong knowledge within finance systems.
  • Proactive curious fact based and handson approach
  • Open minded approach ability to think conceptually and draw the new approach in a convincing manner for finance digitalization change
  • Fluent English
  • Very strong and convincing skills with respect to:
    • Change & people management
    • Project work and planning
    • Communication
