PitchBooks Product Manager works collaboratively with key stakeholders and project teams to execute on the departments product roadmap. This role actively influences product roadmap prioritization and creates business cases for new opportunities. PitchBook Product Managers establish project goals measure business impact and identify additional opportunities of success for the PitchBook Platform.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Validate client needs pain points and business opportunities through ongoing user and market research
- Become a SME in the product area including understanding user needs and workflows
- Actively influence product roadmap prioritization and create business cases for new opportunities
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and project teams to execute your product roadmap
- Create detailed functional specifications from prioritized requirements
- Communicate requirements and project details to stakeholders including engineering teams
- Continuously improve our external and internal deliverables and operational processes
- Establish project goals measure your business impact and identify additional opportunities for success
- Present to stakeholders on product functionality and vision when needed
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science Math Statistics Finance Accounting or related field
- 1 year of product management experience
- Bias for action and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary to meet team goals
- Experience gathering customercentric requirements and writing functional specification documents
- Superior attention to detail including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong audience awareness
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how they enable integrations between systems preferred
- Some experience or conceptual understanding of popular CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) preferred
- Ability to analyze and interpret datasets to inform decisionmaking and present insights to stakeholders preferred
- Experience using data visualization or BI tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) to track product metrics preferred

Compensation
- Annual base salary: $115000$125000
- Target annual bonus percentage: 10
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a locationbased compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.
Working Conditions:
We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that its helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3 days/week and some are expected to work in the office 45 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3 days/week and that you are in the office fulltime during the training period for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an ongoing basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
