Your Role at Pivot
Pivot creates workplace environments to enable people to do their best work Project Manager you are responsible for managing small to medium projects from beginning to completion with an emphasis on costeffectiveness and customer service. Works in situations that are fast paced with frequent deadlines constant interruptions and changing priorities. Plans directs and coordinates activities of assigned projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget.
In Addition You Will be Responsible for:
Project Planning & Scope Management
- Manage projects of all size identifying project phasing needs and gathering scope information.
- Schedule planning meetings and collect necessary project details. Review project documentation to understand the project scope.
- Perform site verifications to document path of travel elevator conditions site readiness to receive furniture and documenting findings.
- Develop and communicate detailed work plans (scope of work) including timelines and logistics needs. Schedule preinstallation meetings with installation personnel to ensure scope of work is clear.
& Monitoring
- Monitor project to ensure it aligns with the quoted scope of work. Document and resolve any discrepancies to scope.
- Perform preinstallation inspections by documenting findings and reporting issues to client and project team.
- Plan schedule and lead final walkthroughs prepare punch lists and follow up on resolutions to ensure timely closure of all punch list items.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Manage scheduling and logistics ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
- Update and communicate with stakeholders on project progress and issues.
- Attend client and trade (OAC) meetings to ensure logistics are coordinated with key stakeholders and other trades.
- Provide technical advice and maintain alignment with project timelines.
Technical Review & Change Management
- When needed review specifications and identifying potential issues.
- Help assess and report on work outside the quoted scope for further evaluation.
- Write and update project schedules based upon project requirements
- Communicate and document any scope or schedule changes. Present change orders to client and obtain approval on additional costs
- Ensure project timelines are met and mitigate risks wherever possible.
- Other duties as assigned.
Were Excited About You If You Have
- A high school diploma or GED plus a bachelors degree in construction Mgt Interior Design Engineering or Facilities Mgt from a fouryear college or university.
- At least 2 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with standard concepts practices and procedures.
- limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Operations database experience is preferred as well as previous working experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Manager customarily directs and coordinates the actions of multiple supporting positions within the project team.
