The Opportunity
For our team in Madrid we are looking for a Project Manager who will be leading the execution of mediumsize projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with policy contractual agreements quality standards health safety & environment requirements financial targets.

How you will make an impact
Lead the project team allocated to the project defining main guidelines allocating project tasks and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
Provide performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects; Ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with policies and contractual agreements.
Define jointly with the Project Controls department all project plan documents including scope and financial plans schedule and risk management plans;
Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and policies. Identify qualify quantify and manage project risks and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
Effectively monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization. Monitor and control project financials overseeing project invoicing status cost expenses and cash flow.
Capture analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project.
Ensure that the project is formally closed out as contractually agreed. Drive the formal acceptance of the project contract closeout and its acknowledgement by the customer.
Act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
Your background
A bachelors/masters degree in Engineering
Between 3 to 5 years of experience in project management
Additional training in the area of project management
Demonstrated experience in management of project scope cost schedules and vendors/subcontractor
Customer oriented with excellent organization and strong communication skills
Mastery in balancing stakeholders both external and internal.
Fluent in English and Spanish both written and spoken. French will be a plus.
Current work permit valid in Spain.
Available to travel up to 10% of the time.
