Description
The Associate Application Developer will assist in developing coding testing and debugging new software and enhancements to existing application software under the direct supervision of the Project Manager.
Duties and responsibilities
- Perform development work in a nonproduction development environment. Applications for user testing and evaluation will be hosted in a prerelease and/or staging environment that closely matches production. The Contractor shall provide consulting services and technical support for creating and maintaining a development and staging environment.
- Develop in HTML5 CSS JavaScript (JS) and JSbased frameworks including JQuery Bootstrap Angular/TypeScript and or React. Experience with object models to include JSON CSOM and REST. It is good to have skills or experience with Vue.js Backbone.js Ember Knockout and Handlebars.js. Node.js and SharePoint.
- Test code to assure accuracy integrity interoperability and completeness to achieve desired results with appropriate documentation of testing results.
- Provide documentation that addresses what core functionality and/or capability is being provided in a particular version of a product that is being delivered. Release notes manuals and or comments on code will be provided for all custom development including new features changes and or fixed bugs.
- Provide enduser documentation including howto guides training guides and frequently asked questions (FAQs). Documentation shall be delivered via portal wikis or other easily accessible platforms.
- Provide assistance to the Government in preparing training materials including delivering the user manual demonstrating new product features providing sample test data and preparing scripts to support training objectives.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other technical area
15 years of relevant experience
Must have highlevel written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
