Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have solid backend development skills with a strong focus on PHP and SQL. While experience with ETL tools is not a priority for this role the candidate should have a good understanding of web application architecture.
In addition familiarity with Google Cloud (BigQuery) and basic knowledge of Python would be considered a strong advantage for potential future projects. Experience with version control tools like Git is also desirable.
Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain backend components of web applications.
Work with PHP and SQL to build scalable and efficient systems.
Collaborate with frontend developers product owners and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
Apply best practices in coding testing and deployment.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Optional: contribute to projects involving Google Cloud / BigQuery.
Qualifications :
Solid experience in backend development using PHP.
Strong knowledge of SQL (database design queries optimization).
Good understanding of web application architecture and backend systems.
Experience with version control systems (preferably Git).
Basic knowledge of Python (nice to have).
Experience or interest in Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery (nice to have).
Ability to work collaboratively in an international team environment.
Good communication skills in English.
