Job Description

Job title: Mechanical Integrity Engineer Opportunity in Chemical Manufacturing

Company: Morgan Stephens
Up to $130K per year Exceptional benefits

Job Description:
This role will be based at a 250person chemical manufacturing facility located near Lafayette IN. This role will be part of the process and technical team at the site and the particular focus of this position is the mechanical integrity program. Specifically this person will serve as the site representative for tank and pressure relief valve inspections and projects related to either repair or replacement fixed equipment. This company has an excellent relocation policy as well providing for moving costs the costs of breaking a lease or selling and home and a househunting trip to the area.

Minimum Requirements:
B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of postcollege industry experience 5 is preferred
Candidates can be out of manufacturing environments where this kind of work takes place (chemicals foods etc) in other words they arent too focused on the specific industry background that this person has as long as their experience is relevant

Demonstrated knowledge of APIASME and NFPA codes is required
Dust Hazard/Combustible Dust experience is a plus
