Job Title: Window Systems Designer (Fenestration)
Contract Length: 69 months

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Window Systems Designer to play a pivotal role in developing innovative aluminium extrusion
profiles for secondary glazing systems. This is an exciting contract position where you will have the opportunity to design
new systems using bespoke software creating profiles that will be manufactured and sold directly to fabricators.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop new aluminium extrusion profiles tailored for secondary glazing systems.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to turn concepts into functional productionready designs.
Transition current handdrawn designs into detailed CAD models using advanced software.
Ensure all designs meet manufacturing feasibility quality standards and performance criteria.
Provide technical expertise and solutions to optimise system efficiency durability and aesthetics.
Assist with project documentation ensuring designs are prepared for fabrication and marketready.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in fenestration design specifically aluminium systems.
Proficiency in CAD software for aluminium extrusion design (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks or equivalent).
Strong technical understanding of secondary glazing systems.
Ability to conceptualise and develop designs from initial sketches to productionready profiles.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes for aluminium systems and glazing solutions.
Excellent attention to detail problemsolving and project management skills.
