Job Description

Position

Renton Technical College is seeking a Swing Shift Custodial Supervisor! This position is responsible for the overall management and daytoday operations of the custodial department and the custodial services provided across the campus including the supervision of all custodial staff. The Custodial team provides students staff and the community with a safe and healthy educational environment. This position is a working supervisor role and in addition to custodial work performs responsible supervisory work involving the assignment and direct supervision of employees in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of buildings offices classrooms building entrances and exterior walkways.

The Custodian Supervisor / Swing Shift position is represented by the AFT Classified Union. This is a fulltime classified and overtime eligible position that is a part of the Custodial team and reports to the Facilities & Grounds Services Director. The pay range for this position is $54457 $74701 annuallyand salary placement is based on applicable work experience. Additional information regarding the AFT Classified Union can be found online. WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working hours for this position will be swing shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am Monday to Friday. Work is physical in nature and is performed outdoors with exposure to a variety of weather conditions as well as in an office environment which is adequately heated and ventilated. The Custodian Supervisor is part of the emergency team and is required to report to work when the college is closed due to emergencies.
