Job Description:
This position is in the Division of Technology and Innovation Bureau of Education Data Center. This management position reports to the Program Management Director and acts as the manager over the Access Management team.
Position Responsibilities:
This position serves as the manager for the Access Management team.
Microsoft Active Directory Users and group management.
Manage and maintain services and functions within the multiple admin centers of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
Manage the daytoday operations of our SailPoint Identity Management Solution
Configure access permissions for users and groups based on their job roles (RBAC) and security requirements.
IBM z/OS Mainframe account management
Manage and complete public records requests using Microsoft Ediscovery tools.
Develop implement and maintain policies and procedures to control user access to systems and data within the department.
Assures that confidential data are handled stored and disposed of as required by Federal and State law and data exchange agreements by administering data security procedures that meet or exceed those requirements.
Ensures data management efforts conform to DOE standards and align with DOE agency priorities.
Provide consultation to senior leaders management and staff for developing strategies for improving customer satisfaction and decreasing customer complaints.
Assist with reviewing administrative policies procedures guidelines that support the management reporting system.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with supervisors fellow workers and subordinates. The information can be exchanged facetoface in writing or via telephone/electronic transfer.
Knowledge to evaluate and reason with information and data to make decisions and solve problems.
Ability to coordinate work and activities of work groups to accomplish tasks.
Ability to access technical problems and determine resources needed to resolve any problems.
Working knowledge of server hardware and enterprise software and use the ability to make recommendations pertinent to the environment.
Ability to use logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches to solving problems.
Knowledge to gather information and use the information for implementing ideas and programs to improve employee performance or service to customers.
Knowledge of operational and technical environments for use in making decisions for future growth or change to the organization.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Must possess the following time management skills; organizational skills; ability to plan organize and coordinate work assignments; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts including RBAC attributebased access control (ABAC) and least privilege principle
Ability to troubleshoot and support Microsoft and third party products.

Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
24/7 System Monitoring and auditing; timely response to alerts.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENTS:
It is the policy of the Florida Department of Education that applicants for employment/volunteer undergo Level 2 background screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435 Florida Statutes as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
