Intermediate SQL Developer 1yr contract)
*This role does not have a visa sponsorship option; it also requires 12 days a week working from the office in Downtown Toronto** This is a 12 mnths contract role**

Heres What Youll Be Doing:
- Design develop and maintain SQL databases to support business applications.
- Write complex SQL queries stored procedures and triggers for data extraction and manipulation.
- Optimize existing queries to improve performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with data analysts and other developers to meet business needs.
- Create and maintain technical documentation of database processes and architectures.
- Guarantee data security integrity and high availability.
- Perform data analysis and produce reports to support business intelligence efforts.
Heres What You Need:
- Degree in computer science information technology or related field.
- Proven experience as a SQL Developer with minimum of 5 yrs of experinece in a similar position.
- Proficiency in SQL Server PostgreSQL or other relational database systems.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
- Experience in performance optimization and query optimization.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g. SSIS Talend).
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
Additional skills desired: - Analytical mind and rigor.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
