LOCATION:

This position will be located in the Round Rock office.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors degree in agriculture economics finance business administration or other related business field.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Three 3 to five 5 years of experience in banking or financial services involving credit extension credit underwriting analysis of commercial and capital markets portfolios. Comprehensive knowledge of lending structuring and market pricing concepts and principles. Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Independently manages the daytoday activity of an assigned portfolio of loan transactions with a mix of new and existing accounts. This includes direct partner communication(s) as necessary.
  • Provides oversight on refinancing of existing borrowers amendments consents and waivers term conversions fixed rate conversions and provides recommendations to Relationship Managers regarding any credit deviations or concerns.
  • Assists Relationship Managers with communication to critical internal stakeholders including the RLT leadership Credit Capital Markets and Legal functions.
  • Works alongside Credit Analysts to guide the development and analysis of financial data and due diligence of contractual technical and market information for new or renewed financing arrangements.
  • Collaborates with Credit Analysts to guide the development and preparation of credit approval documentation for new renewed modified financing arrangements and consents waivers and amendment activities.
  • Supports Relationship Managers in origination structuring and new business activities. Takes on primary responsibilities as assigned to negotiate diligence document and close new lending commitments in the primary and secondary loan markets. These activities can include preparing prescreening memos pitch development and engaging with Capital Markets and other internal stakeholders.
  • Manages to profitability and credit quality targets for portfolio.
  • Prudently services accounts to protect Capital Farm Credit and minimize losses.
  • May conduct compliance monitoring and followup on covenant violations reporting exceptions collateral and documentation deficiencies.
  • Maintains expertise in the various customer segments and keeps up to date on industry trends technology regulatory requirements and government programs

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Knowledge of accounting finance and corporate valuation concepts.
  • Knowledge of fundamental commercial lending loan structuring financing alternatives collateral concepts and syndicated loan structures.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling functions.
  • Knowledge of technical standards industry trends technology and regional/national regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of competitive environment and practices in customers industry.
  • Proven ability to analyze credits contracts legal documents technical reports and various deal structures.
  • Ability to produce marketing presentations for potential and existing customers.
  • Adhoc data analysis and spreadsheet modeling skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Word and Excel).
