The Role
This experienced Accounts Payable Officer will sit within the Finance team at Megaports HQ in Brisbane. This person will be a key member of the Accounts Payable function at a global level ensuring systems and controls are continually improved and automated where possible. The ideal candidate is detailoriented and thrives in a fastpaced environment.
What youll be doing
- Processing of supplier invoices.
- Ensure accurate coding of supplier invoices reconciling to various systems to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.
- Reconciliation of company credit cards and supplier statements.
- Action supplier queries concerning their accounts in a timely efficient and professional manner.
- Action internal Accounts Payable queries promptly.
- Maintenance of supplier master data.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and other accounts payable team actions.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Accounts Payable processes.
- Ensuring internal controls and company policies related to the Accounts Payable function are adhered to.
- Other finance and administration functions as required.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy at all times.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High volume ERP experience ideally Dynamics 365.
- Intermediate Excel skills are ideal.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proactive and takes the initiative to improve processes and documentation.
- Efficient time management skills.
