Description

We are looking for a Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to join Aztec Imports Inc a leading wholesale company. As the CPO you will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement process managing supplier relationships and optimizing purchasing strategies to drive business growth. This position is vital to ensuring cost-effective procurement practices and maintaining high-quality standards across all projects.

As the Chief Procurement Officer at Aztec Imports Inc you will be involved in strategic decision-making contract negotiations and vendor management. You will lead a team of procurement professionals to execute procurement activities efficiently and contribute to the companys overall success. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
  • Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to delivery of goods or services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
  • Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies procedures and regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals to achieve departmental goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track procurement performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement sourcing and vendor management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
  • Experience with procurement software and tools.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
