Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the IT department is in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. The Senior Manager of IT will work with their team to plan coordinate direct and design ITrelated activities for the organization as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. The Senior Manager of IT and team will work closely with decisionmakers in other departments to identify recommend develop implement and support costeffective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. The Senior Manager of IT will also define and implement IT policies procedures and best practices for the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the IT staffing including recruitment supervision scheduling development evaluation and disciplinary actions
- Benchmark analyze report on and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems
- Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology platforms and implementations
- Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures including those for architecture security disaster recovery standards purchasing and service provisions
- Develop enforce and maintain the IT security standards processes and procedures that ensure company data and information assets are protected backed up and available
- Manage the deployment monitoring maintenance development upgrade and support of all IT systems including ERP systems telecommunications servers PCs operating systems hardware software peripherals and office automation equipment
Job Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience with at least 3 years experience in an IT leadership role. IT experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong information technology technical skills understanding cloudbased/wireless technology IoT Bluetooth a plus
- Strong Project Management skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Analytical and creative problemsolving abilities
- Able to address both business and technical requirements
- Manufacturing experience where an ERP system was utilized
- Office 365 administrator experience
- Knowledge of PDQ Nutanix KnowBe4 Arctic Wolf HP Aruba Switching Miraki Palo Alto Connectwise SQL a plus
- Professional attitude when approaching work assignments
