POSITION TITLE: Program Coordinator (BH)
REPORTS TO: BH Director
DEPARTMENT: Behavioral Health and Reentry Services
Scope of Duties:
1. Interact with all clients staff and outside contacts with respect and courtesy.
2. Maintain client and staff confidentiality in compliance with administrative policies and procedures.
3. Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings supervisory conferences and training sessions.
4.Facilitate regular House Meetings.
5.Complete all required reports and other documentation as needed.
6.Schedule and coordinate completion and documentation of monthly fire drills and oversee facility cleanliness facility maintenance and safety compliance.
7. Working knowledge of and promote the Recovery Model Process by overseeing the implementation of IMR regarding staff members.
8. Monitor the use of all agency vehicles and ensure all vehicle preventative maintenance is completed as needed.
9. Ensure proper coverage inclusive of completing monthly schedules and monitoring overtime of all direct reports.
10. Supervise assigned staff including the completion of performance evaluations and regularly scheduled supervisory sessions.
11. Coordinate and/or facilitate workshops and seminars for clients and staff on relative topics as assigned and conduct on site training and staff development programs.
12. Provide support to the Director with team building efforts.
13. Develop and assist Director with resource proposals and special projects to aid in the continuation of project services including submission of funding proposals.
14. Oversee the monitoring of all medication to clients and the documentation in the medication log.
15. Monitor and oversee by completing inventory of all food supplies meal planning and preparation of adequate meals for the clients.
16. Develop and maintain positive relationships with funding and regulatory agencies community resources including service providers and planning bodies elected officials civic and religious associations and maintain compliance with all.
17. Identify and present to the Director matters requiring their attention.
18. Ensure optimum performance of program operations. Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity increase efficiencies and manage costs.
19. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing professional publications establishing personal networks participating in professional affiliations.
20. Act as a liaison on behalf of the Director inclusive of outside meeting attendance as directed.
21. Complete other duties as assigned.
Credentials & Abilities:
The employee in this position must have a bachelors degree in a Human Services related field plus five years relevant management experience. The position requires demonstrated ability and mastery of the following skills: program case management and fiscal management skills resource development community and public relations experience with diverse populations and office administration. Good oral and written communications and organization skills are a must. Employee must have a functioning knowledge of computer software specifically Microsoft Office including Access Excel and Word. Bilingual is a plus.
