Responsibilities
You will deliver superior quality in all that you do and you will treat others as they wish to be treated. You are a resultsoriented team player who is resourceful in overcoming obstacles. You are aninventive problem solver.
We are seeking a CT Technologist who is comfortable performing computed tomography radiographic and limited fluoroscopic exams with portable equipment.
- Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
- Use of proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies.
- Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce crosssectional images of desired patient anatomy.
- Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
- Monitor the patient for any adverse drug events and report accordingly.
- Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
- Perform clerical duties as needed such as answering phones.
Qualifications
You are attentive to detail and organized focused on being a customerservice oriented team member.
Minimum requirements:
- At least 3 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).
- At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
- Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
Preferred qualificationsthat will make you successful:
- Experience operating facilityspecific equipment desirable.
