Overview

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role which includes estimated wages benefits and other forms of compensation is $21.75 to $31.50. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
Responsibilities
The IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for desktop computing systems. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues ensuring the availability and functionality of enduser devices and delivering excellent customer service to staff and clinicians. The IT Desktop Technician will work closely with the IT team to support the organizations mission of delivering highquality patient care through effective use of technology.
Qualifications
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING
Required qualifications:
- Associates degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Network or similar).
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware software and networking concepts.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understands hospital business operations and structure general requirements in an integrated delivery system and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.
- Open to travelling up to 50 of the time.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field.
